I am a seasoned BCBA from rural Kansas (less than 600 people) and have been in the ABA field for 12 years ( 7 as a BCBA; and 5 as an RBT) I have worked in homes, schools, clinics and in the virtual setting in multiple states including Kansas, Texas, Illinois, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Georgia thanks to my husband’s 13-year military career. I am also a mom to 2 daughters, one of which has Autism Spectrum Disorder and a rare Chromosome disorder. I am also the founder and owner of Athe BA study group on Facebook, and a business owner, as well as the president of the newly established non-profit “ABA Success Partners” which will provide study materials and scholarship opportunities for those seeking certifications in the field of ABA.

Key Responsibilities:
As a remote BCBA I provide virtual supervision, training, feedback, and oversight to an amazing team of RBTs and clients via a virtual platform. I also conduct parent training meetings regularly with clients and their families. I  conduct assessments and write and update treatment plans based on the client’s individual needs.

Skills & Expertise:
(List specific skills, tools, or areas of expertise you bring to the team.): I have extensive training in parent training, and functional communication using signs, PECs, AAC devices for clients as well as expertise study and exam prep for RBTs and future BCBAs

Education:
Master of exceptional student education and applied behavior analysis from the University of West Florida graduate 2015- BCBA since 2018;  member of the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) and the Association of Profession Behavior Analysts (APABA).

Fun Facts or Personal Interests:

Being a mother of my own ASD child has taught me a lot about the importance of compassion when it comes to parent training. I feel like I relate much more to the families now that I am also experiencing what they are personally. I am also very passionate about my work and my clients and do what I do because I truly love making a difference every day. It’s not the paycheck it’s about the clients and the progress they make! Fun facts about me: I used to be a competitive dancer and baton twirler and was a member of my community college dance team. I also love reading and listening audioboo
